Dr. Andrew Vu, DAOM, L.Ac
Dr. Vu is one of only a small percentage of licensed acupuncturists in the United States with a doctorate degree in acupuncture. Those with a doctorate degree in acupuncture are leaders in the field of acupuncture as they have the highest level of education and specialty training. The additional training allows him to better integrate acupuncture medicine with his patients and their healthcare team. His evidence based approach ensures his patients receive effective treatments using the latest acupuncture research and protocols.
Dr. Vu completed externships at Khyung Hee University in South Korea to further his knowledge and skill set in the treatment of Bell's Palsy, temporomandibular disorders, and musculoskeletal disorders. His doctoral studies focused upon acupuncture research, gynecology, and geriatrics. Prior to opening Invigorate in 2017, he worked in Southeast Portland for 5 years primarily treating automobile related injuries as well as chronic neuromuscular and musculoskeletal disorders.

Yumi, Clinic Ambassador and Head of Security
Yumi is 14 years old and according to Google, she is in her mid 70's in human years. Despite her age, she still enjoys working at the clinic. She is in need of hearing aids but none would fit her. She enthusiastically greets visitors and tend to lead patients in and out of treatment rooms. She is also head of security, informing Dr. Vu when patients walk in and out of the clinic.
Mochi, Clinic Ambassador & Security
Mochi has been working in the clinic as a clinic ambassador and security for 6 years. She started working since she was a little pup. She does a great job with calming nervous patients by convincing them to pet her.
Odin, the future apprentice
Despite his youthful looks, Odin has shown interest in acupuncture medicine and how it is used to help others. He is currently working on his dexterity and bilingual skills before learning the family trade.
